Process Flow of LM vertical coal mill
Raw coal is screened and dedusted, then conveyed to the raw coal bunker for storage. After the system starts, the coal is fed into LM vertical coal mill by a coal feeder, where it is dried and ground with hot air introduced from a hot air furnace. The coal powder is separated by a classifier along with the airflow: coarse powder returns to the mill for re-grinding, while fine powder is collected by an explosion-proof dust collector and stored in the bin. Impurities are discharged through the air ring. The entire process is equipped with online CO-O₂ monitoring. When preparing high-volatile coal powder, a nitrogen protection system and CO₂ fire extinguishing system are activated in interlock control to ensure safe production.
