The preparation of coal-based activated carbon requires a sequence of core processes, including coal pulverizing, molding, carbonization, cooling, activation, and washing. The quality of pulverized coal is a decisive factor for the quality of finished activated carbon products. During production, strict control must be imposed on key indices of pulverized coal such as carbon content, ash content, volatile matter, moisture content, and particle uniformity, so as to ensure the production of high-quality activated carbon products.
 
Coal pulverizing is one of the core processes in the activated carbon production line, and the quality of pulverized coal directly determines the performance of the final activated carbon products. It is thus evident that selecting a high-performance pulverizing equipment is crucial. Leveraging years of technical expertise accumulated in the industrial pulverizing field, Zenith has developed and manufactured the XZM Ultrafine Mill.
 
Raw coal is conveyed to a surge bin for temporary storage by a belt conveyor, then precisely fed by a constant feeder before being sent to the XZM Ultrafine Mill for pulverizing. The pulverized materials are lifted by the high-speed airflow in the air ring area and then enter the classifier for particle size classification.
 
Fine powder that meets the particle size requirements is discharged from the mill along with the airflow, and then enters the dust collector for gas-solid separation and collection. The finished fine powder is conveyed to a briquetting machine for compression molding, subjected to carbonization, then crushed into carbon blocks by a crusher, and finally packaged in tons for transportation.
